MEET THE TEAM
Giggin4Good was founded in July 2011 by Emma Howe, Hayley Guild & Karen Howe.
Emma, Hayley & Karen are all nannies in London, who witnessed the crucial work that Great Ormond Street Hospital do when one of their children was rushed to the hospital with a respiratory infection.
Following this experience they wanted to give something back. Being avid theatregoers they came up with Giggin4Good & the rest is history!
Since the success of Giggin4Good for GOSH the team have now branched out to help other charities. The most recent concert in December 2016 raised money for Macmillan, as Hayley was going through cancer treatment herself.
Now the team are pleased to support the passion of their friends Jordan & Nathan for the Soi Dog Foundation.
'Songs4Soi' will mark Giggin4Good's milestone 10th concert!!!
Shaun McCourt was approached to sing at Giggin4Good having previously covered the role of Joseph on the UK Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamboat.
Shaun trained at the Guildford School of Acting. He has just finished in The Railway Children at the Kings Cross Theatre.
Seeing the work that Emma, Hayley and Karen did encouraged Shaun to get more involved and he joined the team for the fourth Giggin4Good concert (and beyond!) in the summer of 2013.
Shaun is now a valued member of the team.
Huw Evans is Giggin4Good's Resident Musical Director.
Huw read Music (BA) at King’s College London, whilst simultaneously studying piano with Elena Vorotko at the Royal Academy of Music. He then trained as a Music Director at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Huw works as a freelance Musical Director, pianist, arranger & vocal coach.
Huw is currently Assistant Musical Director on the Funny Girl UK Tour, so won't be on board for Songs4Soi.
Jordan Langford & Nathan Lodge were both Head Boys at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating as Student(s) of the Year.
Jordan is currently Resident Singer/Choreographer at Brick Lane Music Hall & Nathan is Lead Vocalist/Dancer on the M/S Color Fantasy in Norway.
They first sang in a Giggin4Good concert in August 2013 & have been involved in the concerts ever since.
After visiting the Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand in February 2017 they immediately knew they wanted to produce a concert to raise funds for such a worthwhile non-profit organisation & they’re thrilled to be working alongside their friends, Emma, Hayley & Karen.
